Amy - Mac Rollout without Apple Deployment Program

With the help of this guide, you can connect your Mac to your organization's Mobile Device Management (MDM) without enrolling it in the organizations Apple Deployment Program.

If your Mac is brand new, follow the mac OS Setup Assistant and create an "admin" account. Use the usual login data. If you already have your Mac running, you can follow these steps:

After logging in as admin, the following page must be visited so that the device can be included in the AMY instance. https://instancename.amy.anykey.ch/enroll

(Instance name must be replaced with the customer name.)

Use the Amy login to connect the device. 

Then click "Enroll" (without entering a name).

Click on "Continue" to download the "enrollmentProfile.mobileconfig".

After the successful download you can open the system settings, navigate to the item "Privacy & Security" and scroll all the way down until you see "Profile", click on it there.

Double-click on the loaded "MDM Profile".

Confirm the MDM profile installation with the "Install" button.

If prompted, enter your admin account and password. After that, your Mac will install the Amy MDM profile and associated profiles.

The software download starts automatically and takes about 45 minutes (depending on the download speed) to complete.
